WHAT!
1 cauliflower head 1 can chickpeas, drained 1 onion, diced 1 teaspoon crushed garlic 1 cup polenta (or bread crumbs) 1 teaspoon turmeric 1 teaspoon cumin Salt and pepper |
HOW!
Saute onions & garlic. Blend cauliflower & Chickpeas (according to your desired texture). Mix together with onions, turmeric, cumin & salt n' pepper. The mixture should wet . If it is too wet, add polenta (or bread crumbs) so it easily molds into a patty without falling apart. Coat patties with polenta before cooking. Bake for 15 minutes each side OR fry in pan until golden. - Serve in a burger or as a meat alternative with any dish. |
