WHAT YOU NEED
1 Large cauliflower (Diced) 4 tablespoons butter 1 1/2 tablespoons cornflour 2 cups milk ¼ teaspoon nutmeg Salt and pepper 1 1/2 cup of cheese 2 tablespoons Parmesan cheese 4 tablespoons fine polenta |

Pre heat the oven on fan bake to 190°C Boil a pot of salted water and cook the cauliflower heads for around 5 mins or until al dente. Drain completely and leave to rest. In the pot over low heat melt 2 tablespoons butter, Add cornflour and stir well for a couple of mins. Add milk and bring to a simmer, stirring often to remove lumps. Once the white sauce thickens remove from heat and season with salt and pepper, add cheese and herbs. Grab a baking dish and pour half of the cheese sauce into the bottom of the tray, lay the cauliflower, then pour the remainder of the cheese sauce over the cauliflower. Combine polenta with remaining cheese and sprinkle on the cauliflower. Bake for 30 minutes or until the top is golden brown! -SHARE, PLATE AND ENJOY |
